By the end of the year the final Daniel Craig James Bond film, No Time To Die, will be released. The movie will conclude the British star’s journey as 007 after five films spanning more than 15 years. In the meantime, fans and bookies have been looking at which actors are most likely to take over. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any competition.

Ladbrokes Alex Apati said: “It’s looking increasingly likely Bond chiefs have made their minds up in the hunt for Daniel Craig’s replacement, with Regé-Jean Page now the clear favourite in the betting.”

Hardy isn’t out of the game just yet, however.

The Venom actor has been a favourite with fans for the past year after it was reported he had already been cast as Bond.

While these rumours were never confirmed nor denied, he has since maintained strong odds with the bookies.

Hardy currently has a staggering 4/2 on taking Bond.

Norton went on: “It would be wonderful for all those diabetic kids out there to think even a type one diabetic could be Bond! Other than that, I’d leave it to Daniel and the writers to carry on the legacy.”

Norton is followed by Beauty and the Beast star Luke Evans who has 6/1 odds on claiming the role.

The Lord of the Rings actor recently revealed he would “jump at the chance” of appearing as Bond.

He said: “I think I’ve cut my teeth very well in movies I’ve done and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. It’s a phenomenal job, a phenomenal franchise, an incredible role.”

Despite this, Evans added: “I have to say though, it’s a daunting task for any actor to play the role after Daniel Craig. No one knows what’s happening.

“It’s a very secretive process and it’s a wonderful role. I would jump at the chance, as would many actors in my position, so we shall see.”

Following Evans are Henry Cavill and Iris Elba who have 8/1 and 10/1 respectively.

James Bond No Time To Die hits cinemas September 30, 2021.
