At the end of the year No Time To Die would have been released, ushering in the final performance of Daniel Craig as James Bond. After the British star steps down from the series Bond bosses will no doubt be looking for a new actor to claim the role. With so many candidates to choose from, it will no doubt be a difficult task to tackle, however, Marvel‘s latest actor could be the best option.

Marvel’s first-ever Asian-led movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits cinemas next month, starring Simu Liu as the titular hero.
The 32-year-old star is well known for playing Jung in the hit sit-com Kim’s Convenience.
But his foray into the MCU has proven he has the acting prowess and martial arts know-how to battle it out with some of James Bond’s biggest foes as the first-ever Asian Bond.
At the moment, Ladbrokes have given Liu 20/1 odds on replacing Craig after No Time To Die.

Shang-Chi has not yet been released, however. So by the time the film has come out many more fans would have been exposed to the star, boosting his popularity.
Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “Simu Liu is very much among Hollywood’s hottest properties right now, and with 007 chiefs still on the hunt for Daniel Craig’s replacement, there could be a huge plot twist in the betting.”
Liu does not have it in the bag just yet, however.
At the moment the most likely actor in the Bond odds is Bridgerton star, Regé-Jean Page.
Hardy currently has a powerful 4/1 on claiming the role next, making him a likely candidate going forward.
However, he is being pursued by McMafia actor James Norton, who has a strong 5/1 at the moment.
A new entry to the Bond odds is Superman actor Henry Cavill.
The Witcher actor has recently been awarded 7/1 odds on taking over after Craig.
Cavill’s inclusion would be momentous considering he was previously turned down for the role before Craig claimed it.
Apati said of Cavill: “Regé-Jean Page has headed the Bond betting for the majority of 2021 but punters have recently leaned towards Henry Cavill as a potential name who could rival the Bridgerton star for the role of 007.”
James Bond No Time To Die hits cinemas September 30.
