A 32-year-old man has been reportedly taken to an east London hospital with “life threatening injuries” after being stabbed in Leyton this afternoon. 

Metropolitan Police officers were called to reports of a stabbing at 4:31pm today at a property on Lea Bridge Road. 

No arrests have been made at this stage, the Met Police have confirmed. 

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information has been urged to call the police on 101 quoting incident number: CAD 4806/22AUG.

Footage from the scene shows a number of ambulances and police vehicles attending.
