Kate Middleton ‘in her element’ wearing £395 jacket in Cumbria

Kate Middleton was seen in Cumbria on Tuesday, September 21. The Duchess of Cambridge was pictured speaking to some of the Windermere Children, embarking on a boat trip on Lake Windermere itself, as well as walking the beautiful hills of the Lake District National Park. The royal had chosen suitable attire for the excursions but still managed to look smart and sophisticated.
Kate wore a smart belted longline jacket which was crafted from 100 percent luxury Scottish wool.
It was in a classic khaki check, with a soft clementine accent and had two large statement pockets, buttons and a thick belt around the waist.
The jacket can be bought from Really Wild and is priced at £395.
Underneath, the Duchess had opted for a light beige thin knit, round neck jumper.
Completing the look was a pair of black jeans which were tucked into dark brown, lace-up boots.
The boots were See By Chloe and are thought to retail for £250.
For some of the activities she took part in, Kate changed into a khaki coloured Seeland puffer jacket.
For the majority of the day, Kate wore her hair down in a loose curl and kept her jewellery simple with a pair of small gold hoops.
Fans were quick to comment on the Duchess’ style on social media platforms.
Hundreds of cadets from around the UK will use the centre during their visits to the spectacular Lake District “to build their confidence and leadership skills” as they work toward achieving their Duke of Edinburgh Awards, the office at Kensington Palace told People.
The Duchess kicked off the day by going mountain biking and walking with some of the air cadets.
Following this, Kate heard how the lakeland area had provided healing from one of Europe’s darkest chapters: the aftermath of the Holocaust.
She joined a boat trip with two of the Windermere Children.
The Windermere Children are a group of 300 child Holocaust survivors who were brought to stay in the Lake District in 1945 to help them recuperate following the atrocities they experienced in concentration camps and the ghettos of Nazi-occupied Europe.
It comes after the mother-of-three, 39, previously told locals that her children love the area and “walking in the fells”.
During a visit to the area in June 2019 with Prince William, Kate also recalled how, when she was growing up, she loved to go “boulder hopping” in the countless streams that criss-cross the mountainsides.
