Jamie Spears kept ‘millions’ of Britney’s fortune | Music | Entertainment

After 13 years, as a judge ruled to remove Jamie Spears from a conservatorship that controlled the superstar’s life, Britney Spears, 39, is free from her father’s authority – and so are her £45million estate and career choices.
Mr Spears, 69, will have to show Britney’s new conservator financial records.
Mathew Rosengart, Britney’s lawyer, claims these contain “evidence of his corruption – and worse”.
If it is found that any of her money was misappropriated, Britney will sue her father, warned Mr Rosengart.
Yesterday Mr Spears described the verdict to suspend him as Britney’s conservator as “frankly a loss” for her. His lawyer Vivian Thoreen said: “He has tried to do what is in her best interests.
“Anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work.”
Mr Spears is also to face questions about allegedly having hired a security firm to tap his daughter’s phone.
