The Queen and Boris Johnson both greeted the many guests at Windsor Castle as they hosted a reception ready to mark the Global Investment Summit. Her Majesty met Microsoft founder-turned-philanthropist Bill Gates during the reception. She also greeted the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, for the occasion.

For this prestigious event, the Queen could be seen wearing a light blue jacket and skirt in a matching print with white detailing.

Her Majesty was also wearing her staple £540 Gucci Loafers, some beautiful pearl earrings, and a three-strand pearl necklace.

As per usual, the Queen sported a beautiful brooch as she made her appearance.

The brooch appeared to be a glistening silver diamond in the shape of a heart.

It was surrounded by a heart-shaped edge with even more glistening diamonds.

It perfectly complemented the white detailing on the Monarch’s outfit as well as her pearl jewellery.

Queen Elizabeth was wearing a pale pink shade of lipstick which marked a departure from her usual red.

The Queen is known to enjoy wearing Elizabeth Arden’s lipstick in red, which costs just £22.
