The monarch is known to wear the colour on special occasions.

Lime green is one of Her Majesty’s favourite colours and she usually opts for that shade for the most memorable days, such as her 90th birthday in 2016.

It is known the Queen wears bright colours in order to stand out from the crowd.

However, it’s also believed she loves green in particular as it represents hope and good luck.

DON’T MISS

Queen Elizabeth also loves hats, which are usually adorned with tulips and flowers as a symbol of new beginnings.

For today’s special occasion, the monarch opted for a matching green hat with some flowers on the right hand side.

The Queen attended the event despite concerns that she may not be able to make it due to health issues.

That is because she suffered from a sprained back which made her miss Remembrance Sunday last week.

Zara Tindall looked very elegant in a black ensemble.

She combined the sophisticated look with a pair of pearl drop earrings.

Princess Anne’s daughter and Mark Tindall welcomed their third child, Lucas, in March.

While Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank got married in 2018 and welcomed their son August in February 2021.
