Amanda Owen net worth: Our Yorkshire Farm star has huge sum in the bank

[ad_1]

Amanda rocketed to fame thanks to Our Yorkshire Farm, which returns on Channel Five tonight at 8pm. The shepherdess has shared her experiences in several books and during TV and radio appearances. Her varied career has helped her make a fortune in recent years.

Amanda’s exact wealth is not known, but her net worth is estimated to be around £1million, according to TG Time.

It’s a huge sum that the shepherdess has managed to accumulate through various ventures.

The 47-year-old works on Ravenseat Farm, where she lives with her husband, Clive, and their nine children.

Amanda has been a shepherdess for many years and it was always her job before she shot to fame through the Our Yorkshire Farm series.

She first started to gain recognition through social media, where she shares life updates and demonstrates to her followers what it’s like to work on a farm in the Yorkshire Dales.

Named Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda has almost 190,000 followers on Twitter.

As for her Instagram page, also called Yorkshire Shepherdess, she has 450,000 followers.

Amanda often shares photos of the exterior and interior of her farm on Instagram, showing followers the large living room with a huge fireplace, or the tiled kitchen featuring a long wooden table.

DON’T MISS:

The shepherdess also posts images of the farm’s surrounding fields, as well as the animals that roam them, including horses, sheep, and hens.

Recently, the weather in Yorkshire has been – in Amanda’s words – “dire”, and the shepherdess’ Instagram now consists of photos of snow-covered rolling hills.

Amanda has a Border Collie too, called Kate, who helps her to find sheep lost and buried in the snow.

But as well as making a living from her farm, Amanda has made thousands through other ventures.

She was also a guest on the podcast Trees A Crowd in 2019.

The Radio Four show On Your Farm, broadcasted the same year, focused on Amanda’s life and work.

Another way the shepherdess has made money in recent years is through renting out other farmhouses near Ravenseat Farm to visitors.

These are the Shepherd’s Hut, which fits two people, or a six-bed farmhouse called The Firs.
