Relationship Consultant and Strategist at Berkeley International, Mairead Molloy, talked about the differences between the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle‘s parenting and how their children are celebrating Christmas this year.

“Although Kate is more traditional, she still finds a way to break away from tradition.”

But how are Archie and Lili spending Christmas in Los Angeles, away from the traditional royal festivities?

The expert said: “Archie and Lilibet won’t experience the Royal Family’s Christmas Day and Christmas Eve traditions.

“And Prince Harry and Meghan won’t be attending any of the Queen’s annual Christmas parties.

“In the USA it will be more of a normal, less royal dynamic but with the same family values.

“It has to be remembered that Kate is seen as more traditional and this is probably down to the responsibilities that Prince George will have one day.

“Privacy is the factor that Meghan and Harry want to give their children, seeking as normal an upbringing as possible.

“For example Meghan and Harry chose to forego their children’s royal titles, keeping them out of the spotlight and parent without an army of staff.

“Meghan and Harry will celebrate a Californian Christmas in a relaxed, sunny and friend-filled environment.

“Meghan has said she loves to cook and just relax into the day.

“Both mums seem totally in love with their children and it’s wonderful to see both Kate and Meghan enjoy their roles.

“Both as mothers and royally,” the expert said.
