Queen Elizabeth II stuns in floral dress & pink sapphire cluster brooch at Windsor Castle

Even at 94-years-old, Queen Elizabeth II never fails to impress with her elegant outfit choices. Today, she met the incoming and outgoing Defence Service Secretaries, wearing a floral ensemble.
The Queen dazzled in a green dress, patterned with colourful geometric shapes.
Pops of colour included pink, blue and orange.
The Queen is often dressed in vibrant, bold block colours so she can easily be spotted.
In the documentary The Queen at 90, Sophie, Countess of Wessex stated: “She needs to stand out for people to be able to say ‘I saw the Queen.

“Don’t forget that when she turns up somewhere, the crowds are two, three, four, 10, 15 deep, and someone wants to be able to say they saw a bit of the Queen’s hat as she went past.”
While the Queen usually opts for a block coloured dress and inevitably matching hat and shoes, today’s look was more embellished – yet still eye-catching.
She paired this with a pink sapphire cluster brooch that belonged to Queen Mary.
Additionally, she wore her signature three-strand pearl necklace.
DON’T MISS
To complement the pink elements in the dress and pink brooch, the Queen wore a lovely shade of pink lipstick too.
Otherwise, her makeup was classically minimal.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Queen without an appearance from her favourite three-strand pearl necklace, which she paired with simple but timeless single pearl earrings.
Zack Stone, managing director of Steven Stone, told Express.co.uk: “Queen Elizabeth has some of the most valuable jewels in the world, so it would be fair to assume that this three-strand pearl necklace and her earrings are made from natural pearls.
“One single natural pearl is worth around £3,000, and as the Queen has a three-strand necklace, this could be worth anywhere from £600,000 to £1million.”
