The royal website made revelations about Princess Beatrice’s wedding last week. It revealed the royal wedding 2020 will take place on Friday 29 May 2020. Royal fans will be looking forward to the day.

One element of a royal wedding that always brings about smiles is the royal children’s traditional turn as bridesmaids and page boys.

Kate Middletion and William’s children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, are odds-on to be page boys and bridesmaid on the day.

Bookies have revealed the latest odds on page boys and bridesmaids for the big day.

And at 10/11 apiece, George and Louis are set for big roles, with their sister Charlotte being a 4/6 shot to be a bridesmaid.

However, it reveals Archie looks much less likely to be given the same role.

Meghan Markle did attend Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on 12 October 2018.

The appearance prompted speculation Meghan was pregnant, as she wore her coat open showing off a bump.

Four days later Meghan and Harry made the official announcement they were expecting a baby.

The statement read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

Princess Beatrice’s wedding might see her forced to follow certain traditions – but will she scrap any?

An expert suggested she may not opt for fruitcake.

Kate Tynan, owner of Little Button Bakery, shared her opinion with Express.co.uk.

“I don’t think she’ll serve fruit cake at the reception,” she said. “I think she’ll go for something more modern like Harry and Megan did.

“Possibly with some lovely Italian ingredients or Italian flavours.”
