Princess Eugenie vs Princess Beatrice body language: Eugenie to step up in Royal Wedding

[ad_1]

Princess Beatrice will marry her fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29 at Royal Chapel in St James’s Palace. The royal wedding will be far removed from that of her sister Princes Eugenie, as Bea promises a low-key affair that won’t be broadcast or funded by taxpayers’ money.

Weddings are nervy affairs for bride and groom so it’s always nice to get the support from friends and family.

This royal wedding won’t be any different and Beatrice is likely to name her sister as maid of honour.

Eugenie and Bea, the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, are very close to one another.

The two were born less than two years apart and described themselves as each other’s “rock”

Express.co.uk also contacted body language expert Judi James to ask her to analyse Bea and Edo’s postures ahead of their big day.

The couple has been pictured together since their announcement last month and Ms James said their body language revealed some signs of tension between the two.

She told Express.co.uk: “Like any soon-to-be-married couple there are some body language cues here to suggest a build-up of tension prior to the big day.

“In Beatrice and Edoardo’s case there must also be the added pressure of the ‘Andrew Effect’ as the dramas involving her father threaten to eclipse an otherwise happy event.”

Ms James added that Bea had appeared worried in the immediate aftermath of the engagement.

After analysing photographs taken shortly after the announcement with the more current images, Ms James found Edo and Bea’s body language had changed.

She said: “While Beatrice almost peeps around her fiancé it’s Edoardo communicating with the cameras via a body language tie-sign, widening his eyes and raising his brows to suggest a laid-back, good-humoured but ever-so-slightly superior approach.

“There are some hints of tension from Beatrice even in this early stage though, with her free hand being balled into a fist.”
