A lot has been made of interest in Sancho, with transfer expert Ian McGarry claiming United feel they can sign the winger for around £52m due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“It seems that never a day goes by without another mention of this particular transfer,” McGarry said on the Transfer Window podcast.

“My information as of today is that there’s no fee agreed between Dortmund and Manchester United, in fact they are quite some way off that.

Of course the current situation regarding the global pandemic, I think both clubs are waiting to see how that pans out before trying to come to the correct valuation of the player.

“Obviously Dortmund have been quoting €120m (£105.4m), Manchester United are not prepared to pay that.

“I’m told some people inside Old Trafford believe that Sancho can be gotten for as little as €60m (£52.7m) once we start playing football again and the window is open.”
