How Man Utd could sign Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish – with one player key to transfers | Football | Sport

Manchester United will likely have to sell Paul Pogba in order to bring both Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish to Old Trafford, it has been claimed. The pair are both on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s radar as he eyes a shot at winning the Premier League title next season. But Pogba may have to go in order for the books to be balanced.
Manchester United chief Ed Woodward warned fans last week that they, like many clubs, would feel the impact of the coronavirus crisis.
“We will continue looking for more ways of supporting those in need for as long as the pandemic continues,” said Woodward.
“Everyone is grappling with the economic realities of the pandemic and we are no different. The longer the crisis continues the greater the impact will be for every club, including ourselves.
“But it is important to acknowledge the part played by our successful business in allowing us to fulfil our social responsibilities. We have always believed that our commercial model gives us greater resilience than most clubs.
“We are eager to see the team return to the field as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so.
“And while it may be that games need to be played behind closed doors in the shorter term, we all recognise that football will not be fully back to normal until supporters are once again in attendance.”

Sheth also revealed that Sancho was ‘relaxed’ over his Dortmund future.
“Two key points first of all with regards to Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho,” he said.
“Do they want Jadon Sancho? Most definitely yes. Can they afford Jadon Sancho? You’d have to say yes as well.
“However, things have changed over the last six weeks with regard to the pandemic. Not only has society in general been affected but football as well and not least, finances.
“And the question you’d have to ask them is would United still pay Dortmund’s asking price, which will be between £100million and £120million.
“Now the information I’ve been getting regarding Jadon Sancho himself is he’s very very relaxed about the situation.
“He’s in no desperate urge to leave Borussia Dortmund.
“And Dortmund’s stance is the same, they’re very relaxed about the situation.
“Earlier on in the month they did say they wouldn’t stand in Jadon Sancho’s way if he wanted to leave but only if the deal was right, not only for Dortmund but for Sancho himself.
“So as it stands there are still no favourites or frontrunners for Sancho.”
Pogba has made just eight appearances for United this season. Real Madrid and Juventus would both love to lure him away from Old Trafford.
