Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has revealed how Paul Pogba helped him settle in at the club. The Portugal international moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in January. And he’s been a big hit in the time since, helping the club go 13 matches without defeat across all competitions.
Fernandes has helped United rediscover their best form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the club yet to suffer a single defeat in 2020.
And, just recently, he’s been unleashed alongside Pogba for the first time.
The France international has missed most of the campaign through injury but recently returned in matches against Tottenham and Sheffield United, helping the club pick up four points from those showdowns.
Fernandes has starred alongside Pogba and now, speaking to Soccer Bible, revealed how the 2018 World Cup winner helped him adjust to his new surroundings.
“Paul [Pogba] is the guy who came when I arrived with a big book and said ‘where do you want to live, what price you want to pay, house or apartment’,” he said.
“He flicked through the pages. I chose three places and he said okay tomorrow we will check them.

Fernandes and Pogba are both expected to be rested when United go up against Norwich City on Saturday night in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
But, speaking before that game, the pair have been praised by ESPN pundit Shaka Hislop.
“The one thing that we said about Paul Pogba, and I fully endorse, is he’s a better player with good players around him,” Hislop told ESPN.
“He’s not the kind of player that makes a bad team good, he makes good teams better, and that’s what you’re seeing.
“Bruno Fernandes has shown that he makes mediocre teams good and now Paul Pogba coming in is making that good team better.

“That’s what you saw against Sheffield United.”
Hislop also admitted he’d been impressed by United’s form since the resumption of the domestic season, adding: “I admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Manchester United coming out of the break.
“We’d not seen Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes play on the same field together.
“I believed Pogba had his sights set on some other club other than Manchester United, probably Real Madrid – I just didn’t know what to expect.
“[Anthony] Martial at times as well has seemed moody and we’ve discussed that but everything we’ve seen since we’ve come back from the break has been simply fantastic from Manchester United.”
