They’ve avoided being paired together at any tournament since the apparent friction began, but Bjorn believes when they do it will fizzle out.

“They’re going to play with each other eventually,” he added.

“When you’re doing it at a major championship, the focus is on something completely different.

“It’s not about you against one, it’s you against the whole field and you just can’t allow yourself to get involved in something like that.

“No matter how good you are, you’re not that good to have something like that on the side.

“You’re spending so much energy to focus and stay in contact with your emotions through the whole thing so you don’t want to engage in something like that.”
