Philippe Senderos tips
Arsenal are interested in signing two centre-backs.
That’s according to former Gunners defender Philippe Senderos, who claims Mikel Arteta’s side are considering Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Barcelona ace Samuel Umtiti.
“At Arsenal the best years of my career: victory of the FA Cup and 10 games without taking goals in Champions League,” Senderos is quoted as saying by journalist Nicolo Shira.
“The Gunners need a great defender to get back on the top of the world: I know they’re interested in Koulibaly and Umtiti. I’d take one of these two.”
Arsenal could have their work cut out signing either of these two after reports of a limited transfer budget and interest from other clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Kai Havertz likened to Michael Ballack
Former Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann has compared Chelsea and Liverpool transfer target Kai Havertz to Germany legend Michael Ballack.
Havertz, who is valued at upwards of £80million, is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen in the upcoming transfer window with no shortage of suitors.
“The one player who stands out for me is Kai Havertz from Leverkusen’ Hamann told Sky Sports. “He’s an exceptional player, he reminds me of a young Michael Ballack.
“He’s got that air of arrogance in a good way about him. He’s two-footed, he’s tall, he’s good in the air, he’s very versatile. He can play across the front, he can play any position. I think he’s the best player we’ve got in Germany at the moment.
“There’s talk about Timo Werner going to England, obviously he’s a different player, but Havertz is the one I’d be looking at.”

Wanted: David Alaba
Chelsea want to sign Bayern Munich star David Alaba, according to European football expert Guillem Balague.
The Blues have been linked with a number of left-backs in recent months, including Leicester and England star Ben Chilwell.
Balague said on his YouTube channel: “There’s another player that if available, if not wanted by others, if he doesn’t go anywhere else, Chelsea would like. And that’s Alaba.
“He’s been approached by other clubs, yes, but Chelsea will be interested in Alaba and I think that his versatility will really work in favour of Frank Lampard.”
