Wolves could hijack Barcelona transfer for Liverpool’s Gini Wijnaldum | Football | Sport

Wolves are reportedly set to rival Barcelona for the signature of Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum’s signature in the January transfer window. Wijnaldum’s contract with Jurgen Klopp’s side is set to expire at the end of the season, and he has been heavily linked with a move to the Nou Camp.
The Premier League champions face a battle to keep hold of the 30-year-old, who has continued to be a regular starter in the Reds’ midfield this season.
Wijnaldum was the subject of interest from Barcelona last summer, having played under the La Liga giants’ boss Ronald Koeman for the Holland national team.
The Catalan club are not the only ones interested, with Inter Milan are also believed to be keen.
And now Wolves have joined the race to sign Wijnaldum, according to reports from Italy.
