Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to launch one final bid for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe in order to tip the scales and complete one of the blockbuster moves of the summer. Los Blancos had originally set a deadline of 5pm this afternoon to get the deal done, leaving PSG little time before Madrid pledge to walk away.
The most recent bid, believed to total around £145million with add-ons, has not been addressed by PSG as they stand firm on the sale of one of their star attackers.
Upon submitting their offer, Los Blancos claimed that the French side had until 5pm on Monday to respond before the deal was off.
The young Frenchman only has one year remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes, meaning the Parisians could risk losing him for free next summer if they let this opportunity pass them by.
With the clock ticking and no response from France, Sky Sports claim that Madrid are preparing to go the extra mile and submit a £170m offer that PSG cannot refuse.

Based on the latest reports, Madrid are preparing to blow that figure out of the water to push through a move which would be a dream for both player and club.
His departure would mark the end of a hugely successful stint in Paris, where the youngster has scored at a relentless rate of approximately one goal per game.
At the age of 22, he already has an incredible 48 caps for the French national team since he burst onto the scene as an electric teenage talent.
His explosive pace and show-stopping skill would be a perfect match for the Bernabeu, at a club who are in need of an injection of youth up top having started the season with Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema leading the line.
Whether PSG will play ball remains to be seen, although they were clearly not keen to do so when Madrid set out their initial 5pm deadline.
Perhaps it was a bargaining tactic to coax Los Blancos into submitting an even higher offer, knowing how desperate they are to land Mbappe.
If that was the case, then it may just work, and despite the vast wealth PSG have behind them, receiving such an extortionate sum for a player soon to be out of contract cannot be scoffed at.
In a transfer window which has already seen Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo move, among countless others, Mbappe could soon be added to that illustrious list.
