Boxing news: Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua prediction made ahead of Deontay Wilder rematch | Boxing | Sport

Peter Fury separated from his nephew after the Gypsy King beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to gain the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO world heavyweight titles.

Tyson Fury was tipped to succeed by his uncle in the rematch with Wilder, but Peter conceded that even the 31-year-old can be beaten.

He told Sky Sports: “I think everybody is beatable. Tyson is beatable, they’re all beatable – Deontay Wilder, Joshua.

“Everybody is beatable. It’s hit and miss, it’s the heavyweight boxing game. I think this is a very good fight for him.

“If he gets through Wilder, then the sky is the limit. Next would be Joshua, I would assume.”

Fury demonstrated his intent by replacing Ben Davison with Sugar Hill Steward ahead of the fight.

Davison helped Fury deploy a defensive strategy for the first fight, as he looked to avoid the punching power of Wilder.

Although Fury avoided being knocked out, he was denied the win by the judges and is now intent on taking the decision out of their hands.

Steward echoed the lineal heavyweight champion’s sentiment and is adamant Fury must look for a knockout win.

The Bronze Bomber went on to win the fight in the fourth round by TKO.

Wilder’s most recent knockout defeat came in 2008, when he was beaten by Evgeny Romanov in an amateur fight.
